Upper Hand - For The Last Time: Wedding Speech Turned Funny
The Toast Master was very eloquent. He congratulated the bride and groom on their wedding. He praised and flattered them about how beautiful they looked. And, as the custom goes, he introduced the two families to the invitees.
He then told the groom, "Today you are standing tall. Take your bride's hand in yours (she was seated) place your other hand on the top of her's... look into her eyes tenderly, relish the moment." The groom was full of pride and did exactly as the toast master said.
Then the toast master added, "Relish the moment, as today will be last day you will stand tall and have an upper hand."
