Challenging Yet Interesting Speech Topic

This one is great for a college speech class. It's captivating, interesting, and depending on how far you want to go with it, controversial as well.


As a male, give a speech about "What it's like to be a female." If you're female, give a speech about "What it's like to be male."

This puts you in the driver's seat to share your perspective on the opposite sex. Perspective is everything, and this will have both sides of the gender lines in the audience intrigued.

A male giving a speech will get the other males listening because they'll be interested to know if you're 'really' saying what other males really think. Females will be listening to see how far off you really are...and reverse that for a female giving a speech.

I've given this speech before, and believe me, a fun-filled debate followed, and I got a great grade! It requires little researching since all you're really doing is giving your personal opinion. Give it a shot!
